Caleb is a runner at the world-famous Consulting Rooms, where all sorts of brilliant practitioners work - from time-shepherds and musicians, to alchemists, doctors and charm-weavers. But when a theft occurs, the practitioners foretell of a baffling murder where Caleb appears to hold the key to the mystery. In a race against time Caleb has to try and work out when the murder will occur and who the victim will be, and most importantly, why the victim isn't actually dead...
