This text is part of a series of four books of bible stories and four master workpacks.

The stories have been taken from Robert Horton's series "An Introduction to the Bible", and aim to provide simple and straightforward accounts of bible stories, told in a language that can be readily understood.

The stories are supported by questions which have been written with modern thinking about assessment and assessment techniques firmly in mind, so that they not only test knowledge and comprehension, but also fit into the wider context of whole-curriculum planning.

Used in conjunction with the worksheets, the series forms a comprehensive religious education resource which is suitable for all pupils in the 9-13 age range.
