Voie Commerciale - Teachers' File

"Voie Commerciale" is a two-year vocational French course which should prepare students for using French in the workplace.

With a bias towards business situations, students develop their language skills, learning to deal with French at a business and social level.

Eight modules cover specific themes and include graded activities as well as role plays.

Some prior knowledge of French is assumed. For secondary school students, this will usually be two to three years of French in the lower school. "Voie Commerciale" aims to provide enjoyment and intellectual stimulation while motivating students to continue with language study.

Students should form a sound base of language skills required for further study.

The course offers insights into the culture and civilization of French-speaking countries and should promote a positive attitude to foreign language learning.

This teacher's file contains, in ring-bound form, teacher's notes for each module, copymasters of students' worksheets and extension sheets and course cassettes, including an assessment cassette. It is sold with a licence to make as many copies of cassettes, worksheets and assessment tests as are required for use within the establishment and for individual private study by students enrolled on the course at that establishment.
