Everyone assumes that they can separate good and evil when they see it.

They see a horrendous crime committed on television and they question God's antics or say that it is the work of the Devil.

A phenomenon occurs and they assume it is a miracle thanks to the grace of God.

But what if Good and Evil is not as black and white as it seems?

What if the world really is not just a matter of right and wrong? In "God Quit" Tobias Sparks begins to ponder these questions any many others while he is staying nestled in a rehabilitation hospital for the mentally troubled.

He finds himself surrounded by an extremely colorful cast of characters, including two men who claim to be God and Satan, while he attempts to regain his sanity and figure out exactly what he needs to do so he may return to his normal life.

The story is told through Tobias's interaction with his fellow patients including; a soldier for hire who has recently returned from the middle east and is trying to cope with the acts he committed there, a former detective who has truly seen the ugliness that human kind is capable of, a professor whose questioning of the status quo has put him in danger and an old man who knows just a little too much about an American Royal family.

Also spending time with our protagonist is a man who claims to be God and his partner in crime, Satan.

Between one on one conversations and group therapy, the truth about these men, and Tobias for that matter, slowly raise to the surface.

Besides his daily contact with other patients, Tobias is forced to keep a journal that helps the reader delve into his mindset and forces them to look at good and evil in a manner they may have never thought of before.

It is a mental race for Tobias Sparks. Will he find out what he needs to do so he may be able to leave this hospital and get on with his life that waits for him on the outside? Or, will he become so numb to the world that he finds comfort in the white walls and schedule of the hospital?
