This desk diary features John Howe's illustrations, some of which featured on the jackets of centenary editions of Tolkien's classic works.

The diary is illustrated in colour with decorative borders and 12 full-page plates plus specially commissioned line illustrations which complement extracts from Tolkien's major books.
