TV Live Broadcasting and On-site Coverage

The three authors of this book, Zhang Long, Cui Lin, Zhang Shuhua, are experienced teachers of Radio and Television Journalism from Television School of Communication University of China.

This book is based on the lecture notes of these three teachers.

According to the new ideas of professional teaching, the authors redefine the outline and logical framework, making the whole textbook a more systematic discussion of the concept and practice of television live broadcasting and on-site coverage; on the basis of the existing research results of journalism and communication, the authors widely apply multidimensional theories of narratology, sociology and some other disciplines.

Meanwhile, the authors make case analyses on recent prize-winning works of news live broadcasting, with the aim to make the teaching materials explain profound theories in simple language and make it easy for teaching and practice.
