NASA Historical Investigation Into James E. Webb's Relationship To The Lavender Scare

The central purpose of this investigation was to locate any evidence that could indicate whether James Webb acted as a leader of or proponent for firing LGBTQ+ employees from the federal workforce. For this purpose, the acting NASA Chief Historian examined thousands of documents at the Truman Presidential Library, as well as archival collections at NASA Headquarters, NASAÔøΩs Marshall Space Flight Center, and the National Archives and Records Administration.
