Guess Who! : My Personal Hero

My hero Kris is the sort of guy who knows where he's heading in life, and he has an incredible way of enthusing the friends he gathers around him.

Most of his close mates are male, but he relates well to women too who adore him.

His father died a while ago, but he respects and looks out for his mother, who is probably in her late fifties.

Kris has had a very successful career in the woodworking profession, but currently is taking a little time out for a new venture!

He is extremely trustworthy and friendly, which is why he always attracts a sizeable group of mates.

What he can't stand is people who show off about being religious but are totally hypocritical.

They boast about going to church and praying and all that, but treat other folks like dirt and tell people off rudely over minor mistakes or little upsets.

They watch for others' faults, but are totally oblivious of their own!

Kris likes his mates to be honest, straightforward and genuine.

He's not someone I invented. He's a real human being and in this book I relate a selection of outstanding and memorable events or occasions, in which Kris reveals his true character and sterling qualities.

I'm not making it too easy for you to work out who he is, so I've given all the main characters pseudonyms.

What is certain is that he is no ordinary man, and some of you will soon be realising his true identity by the amazing, controversial things he says and does.

Not everyone appreciates his outspoken comments. Occasionally the truth can sting your conscience! Personally I've learnt a lot from him. So have his many other contacts, both men and women.

He's good value and worth the effort of getting acquainted.

There are lots of clues in the book to help you start to realise exactly who he is.

Sometime in the future you might bump into him yourself, and then perhaps get to know him personally.
