Wetland Bird Survey (WeBS) Core Count data were analysed to examine possible movements of waterbirds between the Medway Estuary & Marshes SPA and neighbouring estuaries, as a potential explanation for species declines on the Medway. For those species identified to be of concern, detailed sector plot analyses were undertaken, where trends on particular WeBS sectors were compared to highlight potential movements.
