Talk of the Amphisarca

In Talk of the Amphisarca composed by Xue Liyong, some amphisarca can be eaten and some can not be eaten. And eatable amphisarca can be classified into sweet amphisarca of fruit type and snake melon of vegetable type.

Sweet amphisarca can be bought in fruit shop while snake melon can be bought in vegetable market.Talk of the Amphisarca says the Fruit often refers to the fruit of the woody plants, which is generally composed of the exocarp, the mesocarp, the kernel shell and the kernel.

Some fruits have thin exocarps and thick, juicy and sweet mesocarps which are eatable, we call them Fruits; those with pulpy mesocarps can be called as Berries; and for the fruits with hard, hairy exocarp, thin mesocarps and eatable kernels, we call them Nuts.
