Guided Database Activities Using Microsoft (R) Access (R)

This book provides comprehensive data base activities for Information Technology courses at Years 10 to 12 using Microsoft Access 97 on the Windows operating system. Students are taught the basics of using a data base progressing through to the more advanced features of the computer application including the use of relational data bases. Students learn how to create reports and data entry screens, use macros and buttons, sort data, find data items, use the publishing layout tools, create pop-up menus etc, create calculation fields, produce summary reports and relationships between files,import data from other files, create mailing labels,protect files with passwords, etc. A data disk supports the activities, it provides all the graphics and buttons required as well as prepared data bases to reduce the need for students to be continually entering data.
