The Peanut Parables are forty short stories that use the experiences of a dachshund named Peanut to demonstrate trials we all face—trials of loss, change, bad choices, fear, compassion, and belonging.

They were written for the dual purpose of having a readable bedtime story for a child that makes the Bible verses memorable. This leads to a deeper understanding for both child and adult that God is with you wherever you go.

At the end of the day, Peanut wants and needs what we all do. Peanut is blessed. He feels safe and loved and has no worries, as we all are able to do through our Savior Jesus Christ.
