Disappearing Habitats

Each book in this series examines wildlife stories which have been featured on the BBC television programme "John Craven's Newsround".

The books include an introduction to the making of films about wildlife and conservation. This book looks at disappearing animal and plant habitats around the world.

It examines regions threatened with extinction, such as tropical rainforests, coral reefs, grasslands, savannas, temperate woodland and marshland and the polar region. The book also contains a list of places to contact if you want to help.
