During the 16th century, the holy city of Jerusalem has been ruled by the Ottoman Empire.

But due to its lack of security and management, a new mercenary force was established in 1561 by the city's local forces.

Known as the Sha'Mar brotherhood, their sole duty to protect the rights of the Israeli people and maintain civil safety.

Two decades later the guild expanded, and a new youth has been inaugurated into its ranks as one of its most prominent members.

However when a trio of fugitives encounters him one night on duty, he is soon drawn into another conflict that threatens the peace of Israel born from a potentially fearsome alliance between the Ottomans and another rising empire that hunts for them.
