Directions in Educational Psychology

Compiled to mark the retirement of Professor Dennis Child (Professor of Educational Psychology at the University of Leeds), and to acknowledge the contribution he has made to various aspects of the subject throughout his career, this work is divided into four sections, each of which respresents a research area to which Dennis Child has contributed: "Teaching, learning and learning how to teach", "Measurement and assessment", "Children with special educational needs" and "Moving into the world of work".

The chapters aim to combine sound theoretical frameworks with practical application of the ideas.
