D.W. all wet

Arthur the Aardvark's little sister D.W. stars in the second book (the first was D.W. Flips) of her own series that features the likable, cheeky young heroine.

This time D.W. stands in her sunglasses, robe and broad-brimmed sunhat, and adamantly announces, "I don't like the beach, and I don't like to get wet." She asks to leave the minute she arrives, she won't play and she's afraid of getting sunburned.

It's Arthur who helps change D.W.'s mind about the beach by unexpectedly tossing her into very shallow water
