The Joy of Teaching

This concise, attractive and inspirational book aims to do two things.

Firstly it celebrates the importance of teachers. It reminds current teachers why they joined the profession and it encourages others to join.

Secondly it reflects on the key elements of teaching - the craft and artistry (pedagogy) of teaching.

It includes prose, poetry, anecdotes and extracts from pupils' writing and reminds practising teachers, and introduces student teachers and NQTs to, what it means to be a teacher.
