I Dared to Say Hello?is a collection of thoughts and events that formed the worldview of a young African gentleman who, at the age of sixteen, came in visible contact with the supernatural in ways stark hard for the ordinary mind, but real and amazingly fascinating!

Nlemchukwu grew up in a rural southeastern town of Ifakala in the Mbaitoli LGA of Imo State, Nigeria.

As a young child through the Nigeria-Biafran War of the sixties, he-along with his seven siblings, aging parents, and the rest of a socially virile community-went through all levels of hardship, uncertain days, years of war, and the aftermath thereof.
