She screamed as she ran down the corridor, running as fast as her body would allow.

She felt like there was no gain in her attempt to outrun it, constantly hearing the footsteps gaining on her faster and faster.

There was some part of her that knew this was going to happen, it was bound to happen, but not the way she expected.

They had been dabbling into something that should have been left alone for years.

She gave a glance back to see if she was gaining positive ground when she felt the icy touch on her face.

Her body collapsed, leaving her to see the looming evil around her.

She wanted to scream, tried so hard, but there was nothing, nothing but the darkness she had played with for so long.

Her final memory was the face of evil baring its awful look upon.
