Saved from the flames

As far as she can throw them, Coralina has little faith in men. With a new job in construction in the small hamlet of Silver Grove, she also hopes to demonstrate that she is more capable than they are.

Pace, the hero of Silver Grove, is currently a firefighter. He has watched his buddies succeed in pursuing their goals or finding their soul mates while failing to do the same. When Pace saves Cora from a car crash, his luck changes.

Cora is drawn closer to Pace while strange, potentially fatal events take place around her, and the two of them work together to cause a unique accident. Will she come to trust him, or will Cora allow the darkness to triumph?
