Mermaid Cove: Memes, Oracles, & Mermaid Art

Mermaid Cove offers a stunning collection of multi-media mermaid art by Maurine Howard in celebration of the 25th anniversary of the "e;Yachty Gras,"e; the largest grand night boat parade held annually during Mardi Gras.

Participants decorate their boats and parade Clear Lake off Galveston Bay on the Texas Gulf Coast, partying, throwing beads to the crowds on shore, and competing for prizes in the power-boat and sailboat categories.

Howard's gorgeous mermaids have been created every year for each new Yachty Gras poster, and now are curated as full-color celebrations of a great South Texas tradition.
