All the Hells and Every Heaven

The author, born in the shadow of Stirling Castle -- his only claim to fame, he says, was given a standard education, before going on to study, albeit not particularly diligently, at the free University of Life. A landscape gardener by profession, he retired in 1998 to indulge his hobbies; the main one being his lifelong fascination: writing rhyming verse. The poems on these pages represent the try, try and try again pen, which, for better or worse, refuses to be subdued.
