The Sentinel's Calling

A vicious hate crime shakes the small village of Lantern's Cape to its core and brings detective Leanna Walker back to her hometown to consult on the case. To Leanna, it's not just any homicide case. It's the brutal murder of her childhood friend, journalist Jamie Renton.

Leanna teams up with detective Cody Paxton, the only detective in the small town. A wise and experienced former Chicago cop, Cody is not happy to be working with the Feds on this case. The Feds already have a suspect in custody. But since when are the Feds ever right?

As the two detectives put their minds together, they uncover evidence suggesting they have the wrong man. Leanna's troubled history begins to blend with the case as her childhood memories return to haunt her. She discovers that her hometown is changing quickly, unveiling the evil beneath the surface and proving that in some small towns, you can't even trust the people you know the best.
